April 1 2001 Jagan Mohan sent in a picture of the Yokosuka Ohka preserved at the Air Force Museum in India. Check out his excellent sites about the warbirds of India and the IAF Museum. Mario Raguž added a photo from a friend of his, of the recovery of the RE 2001, quite unusual indeed!
March 29 2001 Michel van Best added pictures of the Aichi D3A and the Kawanishi N1K1 at the Admiral Nimitz museum in Fredricksburg, Texas. Great addition!
March 4 2001 Horst Zoeller, webmaster of the Hugo Junkers page sent some pictures from the Wehrtechnische sammlung in Koblenz of the Hs 293, Jumo 204 and Jumo 211 on display there. 
February 17 2001 From Canada and Eric Dumigan comes photos of the Fi 103/Re4 preserved in Canada as well as the sole Canadian Me 163, Junkers W34 CF-ATF, He 162 W.Nr. 120076, MS 500 N156FC, and MS 500 C-FIWG. Hans Added a photo of the MS 500 N28670 preserved at the War Eagles Museum in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Mario Raguž added a photo of the sole preserved Klemm L 20 aircraft. Tim Kalina sent a photo of the CASA 2.111 in storage at USAFM - and now I mean very much in storage! Not much is to be seen of the aircraft, but still it's a 100% confirmation of its excistance. Leif Hansen sent a picture of the Bf 110 replica under construction in Denmark, This replica contains original parts like engines, instruments etc. It is shown in the section "relics". Hendrik van Rooyen also sent a picture of the Bf 109E preserved in South Africa. Many thanks to you all for these great pictures!
February 14 2001 Also this time there are some very exciting and rare additions! From Croatia and Mario Raguž comes photos of the D.A.R. 9 YU-CGD (Fw 44) and the Bü 131 YU-CLY. Hendrik van Rooyen added pictures of the Me 262, Fw 190 and Bf 109F preserved in South Africa. John Benton, Restoration team manager at Delaware Historical Aircraft Association sent in a photo of the restored Me 262 now again on display at NAS Willow Grove. Simon O'Connell sent in pictures of Nord 1002 G-ETME including photos of cockpit and the insignia. From Denmark and Henrik Knudsen comes a picture of the BMW 132 engine that recently have been restored by the Danish aviation historical society. Bill Richard added a picture of the Jumo 004 preserved at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. Thank you all for these very exciting additions!
February 7 2001 Damian Smid sent in pictures of the sole Do 15 Wal preserved in Argentina. Phil Callihan added a photo of the Wasserfall missile preserved at US Army Ordnance Center and School Museum in Aberdeen. Finally Alexander Hurrle sent in a picture of the Deutsches Museums Klemm L25.
February 2 2001 Alexander Hurrle sent in photos of the Horten Ho IV under restoration in Munich, as well as a Jumo 211 and a undercarriage from a He 177 on show at Deutsches Museum in Munich.
January 27 2001 It's amazing what new information that continues to flow in. This time Peter Kempe e-mails me with information about two for me previously unknown Klemm 35 (SE-BHD and SE-BHF) to be preserved in Sweden. They are under restoration, one to fly, the other for exhibition. Peter Cohausz added pictures of Kl 25 D-EJOL. Kl 35 D-EFTG, CASA 1.131 c/n 2169 and a cockpit photo from the CASA 2.111 at the Luftwaffe museum. Thanks to you both! 
January 20 2001 Ronnie Nicholson have provided a rare picture of the DFS 230 preserved in Belgrade, the wings are reported to be stored. This DFS 230 is claimed to have been involved in the attack on Marshal Tito's partisan headquarters. Claudio Basile sent in photos of the BMW 801 & Propeller on show at the New Omaha Beach Museum as well as a DB 605 with other parts on show at Aout 1944 museum in Falais in Normandie. Angel Sanchez Serrano added a photo of the CASA 352 on show at the Alcantarillas AFB in Spain.
January 13 2001 This time I have many exciting and unusual additions! Both Benno Goethals and Andre de Zwart sent in pictures of Klemm Kl 35D D-ECCI now at Hoogeeven Aeropark in The Netherlands. Benno also sent a picture of Kl 35 HB-UBK. Angel Sanchez Serrano writes in to tell that one of the CASA 352 of Museo del Aire will be rebuilt as a Ju 52/3m used by the Legion Condor. I hope to be able to come back with information on the progress. Apart from the usual support with corrections and additions of facts Peter Cohausz sent in a picture of an instrument panel from a Ju 87B-1 which can be seen on the relics page. Another exciting addition to the relics page is the wing from the Skoda-Kauba SK 257 on display at Prague-Kbely sent in by Christoph Westhaus. I also received a very rare and exciting picture from Colin who was the previous owner of CASA 2.111 c/n 150. It has now been sold to someone in Europe. Many thanks for these great additions!
January 10 2001 This time I've added the following pictures: CASA 352 at USAFM from Dave Pawlikowski. Angel Sanchez Serrano sent in some additional pictures from the Spanish Air Force Museum. The pictures included Klemm L 25, Nord 1002, Dornier Do 15 Wal replica, and the engines Jumo 211, BMW 132 and a Fiat A30bis. Many thanks to you both.
January  2 2001 Rod Larson sent pictures of four different Zeros (on show at Zero Park in Shirama and the airport of Nagoya in Japan as well as the Zero HK-120 at Planes of Fame and the Zero in San Diego. Other pictures included the D4y at Suisei Yasukuni Shrine, Tokyo, and a Walther 109-509 rocket on show at Musum of Flying in California. Also from Rod is a picture of a Jumo 004 on show in San Diego. Check out his site for more pictures! Andre de Zwart sent in a photo of the Seenotstaffel monument in Bad Zwishenahn with a propeller from Do 24T-3 W4+BH. The last addition is from Dave McDonald and is of the Bf 109G-6 being re-constructed from a "dig" in the Netherlands. Thormod Christiansen sent in two pictures of Ju 52 relics recovered in Norway. 
December 30 2000 Today I've added a new section to the site, dedicated to relics or major preserved parts/sections of Luftwaffe aircraft. Check it out here! Damian Smid added a picture of one of the Ju 52s preserved in Argentina. I Believe it is the former D-ABIS. It's currently under restoration. Curt Brandt/Tracy Dungan added pictures of the A4/V2 on show in Alabama together with an engine also on show. Alexander Hurrle sent pictures of CASA 1131 D-EDDI and a beautiful picture of the Fw 44 D-EMOF during take-off from a grass strip. Makes me look forward to next summer! Paul McMillan have sent in an update of the Spanish CASA 2.111 correcting and adding a lot of information. Thanks and happy new year to everyone! 
December 17 2000 Some very exciting additions this time! Damian Smid sent in pictures of the Bü 131D-2 LV-IST, Fw 44J LV-YST and MS 502 LV-ZIV preserved in airworthy condition in Argentina! Very rare indeed. Dave McDonald continues to add great pictures, this time it's the Mraz K-65 (Fi 156), S92 (Me 262) and SC 199 (Bf 109) at Kbely in Czeck republic. Many thanks to you both!
December 13 2000 This time I've added some pictures from my trip to Norway and the aviation museum in Sola and the Armed Forces Museum in Oslo. Photos from Flyhistorisk Museum in Sola are: Ar 96, Ar 196, Bf 109G, MS 502 as well as engines DB 605, Jumo 205 and AS 410. A photo of the Fi 103 and Hs 293 in Oslo have been added. From Science museum in London I've added a new better picture of the A4 on show. It seems like the X4 missile have been removed from their display.
November 26 2000 Alexander Hurrle sent in a picture of the rear cockpit of Fw 44 D-EMOF. I've also added a section with written sources that have been used to compile this site.

November 5 2000 Added information on a recently recovered Caproni CA 310 in Norway thanks to Rasmus Svihus as well as updated some information thanks to Peter Cohausz. 
October 20 2000 Claudio Basile added a picture of  the Jumo 004 on show at Vigna di Valle in Italy and Massimo Rickler sent a photo of the newly completed cockpit of the Fiat G55.
September 30 2000 This time Christoph sent pics from the USAFM in Dayton of the Bf 109G, Me 163, X-4 and Ford JB-2 on display there. It seems that he thoroughly enjoyed himself touring USA! J
September 28 2000 Christoph Westhaus sent some photos from his vacation in Chicago the Ju 87B-2. Christoph also sent pics from the Luftwaffe Museum at Gatow of a DB 603 and a Walther RATO on display. Thanks!
September 24 2000 Dave McDonald have forwarded a photo from his friend Bård Ihle of the Ju 88 recently recovered in Norway. Mark Sheppard sent in a photo from the roll-out of the Berlin Technical Museums restored Bf 110. Claudio Basile sent a photo by Gregory Alegi of the Caproni CA 100 preserved at the Saudi Arabian Air Force Museum. That's a very unusual photo indeed. Furthermore I've added pictures of the recently restored Fi 103 at IWM Duxford, now on display inside a building. Is it a replica outside on the ramp or is that a real Fi 103 too? The following engines have been added: Jumo 211 IWM Duxford, Jumo 004 RAFM Hendon, DB 601 IWM and a DB 605 RAFM Hendon. CASA 1131E on show at RAFM Hendon has also been added as well as a picture from the inside the fuselage of the He 111 on display..

August 27 2000 Now I'm back from my vacation and can add the following pictures from NASM and the Paul Garber facility: Arado Ar 196 and Ar 234, Bachem Ba 349, MS 500, He 162, Ho IX, Fw 190, Me 262, Me 410, Ford JB-2 and LTV-N-2 (US Fi 103 copies). The following German missiles : Hs 117, HS 293, Hs 298, BV 246, 2 examples of the X-4, Rheintochter. The following German engines have been added: 2 examples of the BMW 003, HS 3B, Jumo 004, Walter 109-500. The following Japanese aircraft and engines at NASM have been added: Aichi M6A1 (restoration complete!), Kawasaki Ki 45, Mitsubishi G4M3, Zeke, Nakajima Kikka, Yokosuka P1Y1, MXY7-K2 Ohka as well as a photo of a HA 40 engine. I've also added pictures of the Ohka 11 at Manchester museum of Science and Industry, the CASA 1131 SE-XOB, Fw 44 SE-EGT and Rheinbote missile at Cosford.
August 2 2000 Claudio Basile added a picture of a Piaggio XIbis RC40 engine from Museo nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnica in Milano. Sergio Luis dos Santos added news on the change of ownership of the Argentinian built Fw 44 W.Nr. 149. Tracy Dungan sent in a photo of the A4 on show at White Sands Missile Range in Texas.
July 27 2000 Helmut Schaefer added pictures of the following Confederate Air Force aircraft: CASA 352 c/n 67,  CASA 2111 N72615, HA1112 c/n 67 and c/n 208 (later lost in accident) and Bf108D. 
July 23 2000 Christer Sidelöv and the Warbird  Restoration Museum in Florida sent in a picture of the Fw 190F-8 W.Nr. 931862. Helmut Schaefer added a picture of the Fw 190A-8 W.Nr. 732183 on show at the Texas Air Museum. Christoph Westhaus sent pictures of the Jumo 211 and 213 on display at the Luftwaffe Museum in Gatow. July 13 2000 Angel Sanchez Serrano sent in additional pictures of the two HA1112 on show at the Spanish Air Force Museum as well as two CASA 352, MS 500. Alexander Hurrle continues to add pictures. This time it is Bü 131 A-51 and an Argus AS 10 engine from the Swiss Air Force Museum.
July 12 2000 Christoph sent in a picture of a Jumo 004 which is a new exhibit at Hermeskil in Germany. Sergio Luis dos Santos added pictures of Jumo 205, Hirth 508, Argus 10 from Museu Aerospacial, Rio de Janeiro. Alexander Hurrle sent pictures of Bf 108 A-210, Fi 156 A-97, Jumo 205 and DB 601 from Verkehrshaus Luzern as well as Bf 108 D-IOIO. May 23 2000 Claudio Basile added a cockpit picture of the Italian Bf 109G-4 as well as pictures of the Italian Air Force Museums Fiat CR 42 and Fighter Collections Fiat CR 42 under restoration in Italy. Christoph continues to send photos from his great collection. This time it's 4 different Bücker Bü 131 aircraft; Aero C104 n/o 227, CASA 1.131 c/n 2145, and CASA 1.131 E3B-506 as well as Bü 131B Doflug c/n 64. He also added pictures of Fi 156 D-EZZZ and Bf 108B W.Nr 1988.

May 16 2000 Juoko Rautio have sent in some additions and some very useful corrections. Alexander Hurrle sent in pictures of the from Norway recovered Ju 52/3m at Technikmuseum Speyer. He also added pictures of the Zero-cockpit section previously at IWM, London which is now on display at Speyer too. Is it on loan or has it been sold to this museum? Also added is a picture of a DB 601 on show in Finland, Argus 410, one on show in Finland and one in Sweden, BMW 132 on show in Finland and in Germany and lastly three Jumo 211 on view in Malta and in Germany.

May 7 2000 Christoph mailed photos of the FA 330 and the only existing NG 54 both on show at the Hubschrauber Museum in Germany. Andre de Zwart sent some information about a fuselage of a Do 24K used as a houseboat in Australia. Great news!
April 30 2000 Previously unknown examples of Fi 103, HS 293 and Fritz X have surfaced at Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung, Coblenz. Also on show is a Jumo 004 and an engine from a A4/V2. Many thanks to Christoph Westhaus for these exciting news and photos. Does anyone have any information on how these items ended up in this collection?

April 23 2000 Kari Kupiainen sent in some photos of the prototype VL Viima I preserved at Kalmar Industries main gate, Tampere (ex Lentokonetehdas - aircraft factory). Christoph Westhaus has a big collection of photos which he likes to share with us, this time he sent pictures of the Fi 103 at Gatow, and two Fi 103 in Delft, Holland, including a Fi 103/R4, CASA 352 "D-CIAS", Bf 108B D-ESBH, Hs 293 in Prague, Fw 44 D-EMUT, CASA 1131 F-AZBZ.
