Sources

Over the last 15 years I've gathered information about preserved axis aircraft through mainly written sources and through visiting museum and air shows throughout the world. Undoubtly books on the subject are the best source of information and photos to get a complete picture of what is preserved, but books have a tendency to become outdated by events quite fast. Magazines on the other hand can give you the latest information but rarely the whole picture in one instant. The Web is the media that have the best opportunity of supplying both the whole picture and updated information at the same time, but on the other hand suffer from the weakness of easily spreading rumors and false facts if the information is not checked. Therefore I would like to state which main sources I have used to compile this site.
