December 27 2001 Here are some final additions for 2001. I hope 2002 will be as successful as this year was! Many thanks to all of you who have contributed with photos and information. Happy New Year!

Ok, here we go; Alexander Hurrle sent in photos of CASA 1.131 D-EDWD and Gomhouria D-EEXE. Mario Raguž added some exciting photos from his trip to Austria and the Czech republic. In Vienna he saw Fi 156 W.Nr. 110253, rudder from Gordon Gollob, He 162 parts and engines Argus AS 10, Hirth HM 60 a section of a Jumo 004. Mario also took some photos of the Aero C-3A (Si 204) on show at the museum at Zruc and some Fw 190 Wheels with the same museum. Jerry Yagen from the Fighter Factory added pictures of the Bf 109E-7 W.Nr. 2023 that they restore and the Fi 103 they have. The engine of the V1 is in running condition. This V1 was reconstructed/restored from parts recovered from the Nordhausen complex during the 1990's. the Fighter Factory also owns and operates MS 500 W.Nr. 751, which previously was in Germany. 

December 18 2001 Bernt Olsson sent in a photo of the BV 138 on show at the Helsingör museum, after treatment. Peter Cohausz continues to share photos from his extensive collection (Bücker (APM) D-EAUK, a cockpit photo of BF 109G-2 at Laatzen, Hannover and "Zaunkönig" D-EBCG as is Christoph Westhaus who added photos of the  rudder from Friedrich-Karl Müller's Bf 109K-4 previously at Sinsheim and tail-unit from a Fw 190 at Laatzen, Hannover and some Fw 190 remains on show at Kbely, Prague. Thanks to you all!
December 13 2001 Michel van Best sent in information and photos of three previously, on this site, unlisted examples of the Ford JB-2 preserved in USA. They are preserved at Fort Sill, Artillery museum, OK; Eglin AFB, Armament museum, Valparaiso, FL and Hill Aerospace Museum, Roy, UT. Michel also sent in photos of the Fi 103 preserved at Militaire Luchtvaart Museum, Soesterberg, The Netherlands as well as a photo of the LTV-N-2 on show at White Sands Missile Range, Las Crusas, NM, USA. Many thanks for these exciting additions!
December 9 2001 Tracy Dungan added a photo of the USAF museums A4/V2 that is currently under restoration. Massimo Rickler sent a photo of a tailwheel from a Fiat G 55 that have been recovered from a chrashsite. Check out the Italian relic section! 
December 1 2001 Peter Cohausz sent in photos of the Bf 109G D-FMBB (the second), Winter LF 1 Zaunkönig D-EBCQ, Bü 131 D-EHMD (A-14) and Bü 131 A-67. Claudio Basile added a photo of the armour for a Fiat G 55 that recently have been recovered in Italy. November 18 2001 Christoph Westhaus sent in two photos from the Luftwaffe Museum, of the rudders from the Bf 109G's flown by Major Werner Schroer and Hauptmann Hans-Joachim Marseilles. Benno Goethals added a more updated photo of the Do 24 in the Netherlands. 
November 10 2001 Jukka O.Kauppinen added photos from his collection which included the Blenheim Mk IV and nose sections from two different Blenheim Mk I (one of which was previously unknown to me). Jukka also added photos of the Douglas DC-2 which was operated during the war. Other photos included a set of Bf 109E wings (relics section) and the second Bf 109F-4 (White 4, TI+LA) which is in storage with the Finnish Air Force museum. Also a photo of a Bf 109E drop tank have been added to the relics section. Mika Öhman have kindly given me permission to use one of his photos of the Bf 109G-6 MT-452. Many thanks for these great Finnish additions!
November 5 2001 Alan Scheckenbach sent a photo of cockpit of the Me 163 at the Australian War Memorial and a photo of the Tachikawa Ki-54 Hickory fuselage that have been transfered to the collection from RAAF Museum Point Cook. Jukka O.Kauppinen sent a photo of the Bf 109G-2 MT-208 under restoration at the Finnish Air Force Museum. Paul Coggan writes that Zero c/n 1303 have been registered as N1303 in USA. Thanks!
October 27 2001 Both Mario Raguž and Gregory Alegi continues to send exciting photos of rare aircraft. Mario added a photo of a Fiat BR 20 propeller which can be seen on the Italian relics section. Gregory contributed photos of the Canso C.6B Falchetto and the Re 2000 fuselage in storage at the Caproni museum and a photo of the Re 2001 under restoration. Thanks! 
October 20 2001 Peter Cohausz added a photo of the Bf 109G-14 W.Nr. 784993 in Germany. 
October 15 2001 Alexander Hurrle sent in a photo of the newly restored Horten Ho IV now on display in Schleissheim. The center section of the glider is a reconstruction while the wings are original. Massimo Rickler sent a new picture of the CR 42 under restoration in Italy. Progress is good, with engine and wings now added. Mario Raguž sent a photo of a newly restored wing of the IMAM Ro 41 aircraft under restoration in Italy by GAVS. Gregory Alegi added photos of the SAI Ambrosini S.2S. I-LANC in storage with the Caproni museum and the cockpit section of a Ca 310 recovered from Rodhes and now on display in Athens. Many thanks to you all for these exciting additions!
October 9 2001 Mr Saiwm adds pictures of the two Zeke model 21 and 52 fighters owned by Mr Harada in Tokyo together with two Ha 35 engines and the fuselage section of a G4M Betty bomber that he have restored. There is also a full scale replica of a Yokosuka K5Y Willow trainer on show in this musuem. 
October 6 2001 Benjamin Gilbert sent some pictures from one of the open air days at Musee de l'Air in Paris where stored aircraft are showed to the public. The photos include the collections CASA 2.111, and Fw 190. I've also uploaded photos a Jumo 211 and a DB 601 on show at Speyer taken by Horst Zoeller. Finally I've added a photo of a Alfa Romeo 126 engine at the Muzeum Lotnictwa I Astronautyki in Krakow. Many thanks to Mr. Giovanni Masino who identified the engine and to the rest of you for the pictures.
September 26 2001 Added a picture to the relics section of a Ju 88 wing on display at the Victory Museum, Moscow
September 21 2001 I've uploaded a picture of the Nakajima Ki 43 wreck on display at the Victory museum in Moscow. It was recovered from the Kuril islands in 1996.
September 17 2001 Christoph Westhaus added a picture of the Ford JB-2 on show at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville.
September 8 2001 Rasmus Svihus of the Flyhistorisk Museum Sola in Norway added a photo of the Caproni CA 310 that they are restoring. Progress is fine but they are looking for parts, especially instruments for the CA 310 series (310-314). Please contact me if you can help.
September 7 2001 Gunnar Åkerberg added pictures of the Finnish Gloster Gauntlet and the Fw 44 SZ-24. Oleg Leiko added photos of the Bf 109G-2 and the Ju 88 preserved at Northern Fleet Air Museum, Severomorsk, near Murmansk. Great pictures!
August 12 2001 Peter Cohausz added some pictures of the Arado 96 PD+EJ under restoration at Flug Werk factory, Bü 131 D-EAVV, Bü 181 D-EEHV, CASA 352 s/n 166 D-ADAM, Klemm L25 D-EJOL and LX-MAF, the Reintochter at Deutches Museum and a tail unit of a Wasserfall missile at the Luftwaffenmuseum at Berlin-Gatow. Thanks a lot Peter!
August 9 2001 Dave McDonald sent in some rare photos of the cockpit section of the Hs 129. The cockpit section is under restoration by the owner in Australia. He also added a picture of a He 111 nose turret preserved in Norway. This turret can be seen in the relics page together with some new photos from Horst Zoeller of a Jumo 205, 2 different Jumo 211, a rudder from a Junkers W34, Ju 88 main undercarriage, and instrumentpanels from Ju 87 and Ju 88 aircraft. Horst's pictures are from the Museums in Gatow and Hermeskiel in Germany and Brussels in Belgium. Thanks guys!
August 5 2001 Photos of two very rare aircraft have been added. One is the Albatros L 101 trainer and the other is the Curtiss 35 Hawk II bought by Ernst Udet and used for divebombing development and also at the Olympic games in 1936. Dave Mc Donald added a photo of the Bf 110 rudder on display at Imperial War Museum in London, it can be seen in the Relics section. Brian Johannesson added a photo of the Junkers W34 CF-ATF taken in 1962 before it was included in the National Aviation Museums collection. Great additions!
August 4 2001 This time I've added some pictures from my visit to the Muzeum Lotnictwa i Astronautyki in Krakow. The photos are a cockpit shot of the Me 209, a photo of the Bf 109G-2 in Poland. The museum have an extensive engine collection so I've added photos of an Argus As 10, As 410, Hirth HM 60, HM 504 and HM 508. Other engines include a DB 600, a Jumo 205 a Jumo 211 and what I believe to be a Jumo 222 - I'm not 100% sure about this one. Also photos of a V1 and a V2 engine have been added as well as an Schmidding 109-513 and a Walter 109-500. 
July 29 2001 Bernt Olsson adds a photo of a restored Main undercarriage from a Heinkel He 111 preserved in Sweden. Daniel Leahy sends in a photo of a Ki 43 wreck now on display in the new Australian War Memorial exhibition. Many thanks to you both!
July 20 2001 Massimo Rickler added photos of some Italian engines, Alfa Romeo 115 ter, Isotta Fraschini Asso 750 (have been installed in a SIAI S55X°) and a Fiat A74. These engines were photographed at the Air Show on Ghedi Air Force Base.
July 16 2001 Alexander Hurrle sent in a photo of the Jumo 211 on display at Flugwerft Schleißheim. Benno Goethals added a photo of the Finnish Viima II OO-EBL currently flying in Belgium. The photo is from the days when it flow in England as G-BAAY with a German marking. Today it has a correct finnish marking. 
June 25 2001 Christoph Westhaus continues to find and photograph aircraft that haven't been seen on this site before. This time he sent in photos of the W 33 Bremen and the Fw 44 D-EHOO on show at the Bremen Airport, Bü 181 OY-AVZ was seen at the Hamburg Air Show. Christoph also sends a photo of a section of a He 115 float on show at the Aeronauticum in the city Nordholz, close to Cuxhaven in Germany. This might be the largest piece of a He 115 currently on show anywhere. 
June 22 2001 Claudio Basile sent in some photos from his trip to the Caproni museum. They include photos of the Breda Ba 19, Avia FL.3., Caproni CA 100 and CA 163, Saiman SA 202. Peter Cohausz sent in photos of the Bü 181 and CASA 1.131 in Deutches Museum as well as a cockpit photo of the sole Bü 180. Many thanks to you both!
June 17 2001  Horst Zoeller added photos of Bü 181 D-EDIB and a photo of the Bf 109 wing on show at the International Aviation Museum in Villingen-Schwenningen which can be found on the relics page.
June 5 2001 This time I've added pictures from cockpits of some Axis aircraft on show at the Flygvapenmuseum in Linköping. I got access to the following aircraft, Fw 44 FV670, Kl 35 FV 5081, Bü 181 FV 25000 and FV 25114, Siebel/NC 701 SE-KAE, Ju 86 and Fiat CR 42. Many thanks goes to the Air Force Museum for letting me take these pictures. Steve Walsh sent a photo of Nord 1002 VH-OFS operated in Australia.
June 4 2001 New section have been added, called the Marketplace. The aim is to help you sell, trade or find what you're looking for. 

Massimo Rickler sent photos of a CNA D4 engine, Fiat A74RC38 engine and a Fiat CR 42 propeller which he took at the annual GAVS conference in Italy. The propeller can be seen in the Italian relics section and the other two in the Italian engine section. Peter Cohausz sent in photos of CASA 1.131 D-EBZE on show at Luftfahrt Museum Schwenningen, Fw 44 D-EJOI and D-EGBR. Peter also sent two very interesting photos of two highly modified Klemm Kl 35 aircraft D-EMHN and D-EDEX. Lars Sundin added a photo of Klemm Kl 35 SE-BPU currently under a slow restoration at Barkaby airfield in Stockholm. Many thanks to you all for these additions!

May 26 2001 Claudio Basile sends a photo of relics from a Macchi MC 205 chrashsite in Italy which are on display at Museo della libertà, Bologna. The photo is on show on the Italian Relics section.
May 8 2001 Dave McDonald adds a photo of the He 111 aft fuselage and tailunit on display at the Moscow Army Museum.
May 1 2001 Mario also sent a picture of an unidentified control column, which we now have identified with the help of Chris Vanhee and Peter Cohausz. It's from a Do 17Z and can be seen on the relics section. The grip is on show at Tehnicki Muzej in Zagreb, Croatia.
April 29 2001 Mario Raguž added photos of some Italian engines (Alfa Romeo 115 and 126) and German DB 601 on show at Tehnicki Muzej in Zagreb, Croatia. Angel Sanches Serrano sent in photos of the Fi 156 as well as Jumo 210, BMW-Bramo 323 engines preserved at Museo del Aire in Madrid.

April 11 2001 Today begins the third year online for this site. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who have contributed with bits and pieces of information, pictures as well as encouragement. I've entertained myself with making some statistics in a spreadsheet about the number of entries and pictures that can be seen on the site. Best whishes /Mikael

David Weiss aka Falcon sent in a picture of the Bf 109 rudder from Alfred Grislawskis Bf 109G preserved at the Luftfahrtmuseum Laatzen, Hannover. The picture can be seen in the Luftwaffe relic section. I've also added relic pages to the Italian, Japanese and Finish sections. Unfortunately there's only a few entries to show there yet, but I hope you'll help me with new additions!
